When you select a strand of curriculum, you will be prompted to enter a username and password. This information is supplied by your instructor. If you have trouble viewing the curriculum on your computer, make sure you have the appropriate software installed (see Requirements). Also be aware that some firewalls, anti-virus, and pop-up blocking software may interfere with the curriculum. Modify your software to allow scripts, web-bots, pop-ups, and cookies for three URLs: "ciscoweb.edisonohio.edu", "cisco.netacad.net", and "cisco.com". These features are often listed as "Privacy Controls" by your software. Academy Connection Help: for trouble logging in; forgotten usernames and passwords, and navigation help. Your instructor is also available for assistance. Copyrighted MaterialsThe Cisco Networking Academy curriculum and designated tools are considered 'copyrighted' materials. Any unauthorized use of the Cisco Networking Academy Program tools and curriculum is prohibited and is considered a violation of federal copyright law. Unauthorized use of the curriculum includes, but is not limited to, downloading, printing, copying, and/or burning the curriculum to a CD. Printing the labs within the curriculum is allowed. Academies are required to download the curriculum to an internal server to provide their Instructors and Students with localized access. Any access to the curriculum outside of the Academy's internal server must be done via the Internet here. Any printing, copying, downloading, burning the curriculum to a CD, and/or unauthorized use of the Academy curriculum is considered a violation of federal copyright law. |
